 My mission team and several christian leaders spent several months in prayer to find out God's perfect plan for our ministry. The Lord wonderfully led us to venture totally by faith into this new ministry called "Mission for the Rural People".
We are thankful to all these dear ones in their fellowship and partnership in the Gospel. We are only His instruments in this great task of building His Kingdom on this earth. We have dedicated this Mission to the glory of God alone and for the extension of His Kingdom.
The main business of our ministry is to preach and teach the Word of God, with His compassion and multiply disciples in each place. Only through the process of multiplication, can we reach our vast country having a population of 800 million people, with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt 9: 35-38).
Our burden is to concentrate at the grass root level evangelism, which is greatly needed in our country. Most of our country's population is confined to 60 million villages. So, we need at least 6 million totally committed believers to testify the power of salvation in every village. That means we need at least one radiant believer in every village. Is it possible? Is it not an enormous task? Yes, it is. I believe that it is possible if we are willing to come together and hold tight the power of the message in the cross of Calvary. We will be able to move forward into every village systematically by preaching and teaching the word of God faithfully.
It is our earnest desire longing and burden to see that the Lord may establish His witness in every village of our country. To that end we, in Mission for the Rural people, are available to fulfil this great task with the Church in India.
This does not mean we neglect our urban population. When we look at our cities and towns, we see every nook and corner filled with multitudes of people. My heart goes out for them. My prayer daily is to beg the Lord to give me the heart of our Saviour, which can cry for these lost multitudes of our motherland. I believe that God can give us His heart to cry and move in to these areas with the Powerful Word of our living God by preaching and
teaching them of the Kingdom of God.
